Emma is a middle-aged woman, who has been widowed ten years after her marriage with a successful entrepreneur and inherited his business. One day she visits her daughter who studies in Italy in order to take a long break from her duties as the owner of the company. This trip will change her life forever as she meets a charming bodyguard in the hotel where Emma stays. After spending a night full of passion they have to say goodbye. However, destiny has other plans for both of them. Two weeks after her vacation her daughter decides to return home and brings her boyfriend with her. To her surprise Emma meets by chance the man with whom she slept once again. When she realizes that Roberto is the boyfriend of her daughter she finds herself in a dilemma.
